October 14th – Full Solar Eclipse! Watch it at the Beach.

Author 08-30-2023

Have the opportunity to witness a solar eclipse while sitting on the beach? It’s truly a

once-in-a-lifetime experience that you will never forget! Imagine, the moon begins to pass in

front of the sun, the sky slowly grows darker and the temperatures begin to drop. The waves of

the ocean become calmer as if even nature was anticipating the event!

As the eclipse will reach its peak, you’ll be amazed by the sight of the sun’s corona shining like

a halo around the moon. It’s breathtakingly beautiful and will leave you in awe of the natural

world around you. You can’t help but think about how small we are in comparison to the

vastness of the universe.

But the best part of the experience is sharing it with others. Your favorite people gathered on the

beach to witness this phenomenon together sounds better at the Sea Gull. When you book a

condo at the Sea Gull you can expect great rates and luxury accommodations in Mustang

Island, Texas. We have fabulous beach views and extreme relaxation at our condo resort on the

beach.

If you ever have the chance to witness a solar eclipse, we highly recommend it. And if you can

do it while sitting on a beach, even better! It’s a truly magical experience that will stay with you

forever. The Sea Gull is happy to welcome you and have you join us at the beach to view the

eclipse this year.

An annular solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth while it is

at its farthest point from Earth. Because the Moon is farther away from Earth, it appears smaller

than the Sun and does not completely cover the star. The Eclipse is on October 14th, 2023, and

is predicted to show in Texas around 11:30 am and last until close to 12:03 pm. It’s said that

Corpus Christi and the surrounding areas will have the most prolonged annular phase of the

eclipse!

Book your stay with us today and enjoy a solar eclipse on the beach.
